How much does your 3-2-1 Lift-Off Tour cost?
All Galactic Medallion luxury tours originate in Orlando, Florida. Tour pricing depends upon the number of people in your group, and helicopter pickup point in Orlando (airport or other specified location). Tour prices generally start at $2,500 per person — four (4) person minimum.
How many people can a helicopter carry?
A single-engine turbine helicopter can typically transport 4 – 6 passengers, depending upon size and cabin configuration of the aircraft.
Do I have to fly in a helicopter to take the tour?
For those guests who choose not to fly in the helicopter, luxury ground transportion is available. Contact us for further information and pricing.
How long is the helicopter ride?
The helicopter flight from Orlando to Cape Canaveral lasts approximately 20 minutes, and the aerial tour of the Space Center and Port Canaveral lasts about another 20 minutes – so approximately 40 minutes from takeoff to landing. The flight back to Orlando at the end of the day takes about 20 minutes.
Are there any restrictions that apply to flying in a helicopter?
Helicopters have a maximum passenger weight limit, depending on the make and model of the aircraft. FAA regulations require that the weight of each passenger be obtained prior to the flight to ensure that the total weight limit is not exceeded. Space for luggage and/or cargo is limited in passenger helicopters.
What if the weather is bad?
Weather can be fickle in Florida and the safety of our guests is our top priority. If weather forecasts indicate storms on an upcoming tour day, the trip may be rescheduled for another day. If inclement weather appears in the area after a tour has begun, the pilot will make the determination when (or not) to proceed with the return flight. In that situation, alternate ground transportation will be provided for the return.
Is it really worth the price? What do I see?
Galactic Medallion tours offer a unique, custom-crafted VIP experience that provides a concentrated amount of information and entertainment in a one-day, fun-filled adventure. Our curated concierge-guided tours showcase the highlights of the Kennedy Space Center experience, and go behind the scenes wherever permitted to introduce our guests to facilities and installations not necessarily available for viewing by the general public. Galactic Medallion guests also enjoy a catered gourmet lunch in a private venue at the Space Center, and personal interaction with veteran NASA astronauts, former Launch Directors, and other space industry experts.

What are your booking requirements?
Since a 3-2-1 Lift Off Tour incorporates a private helicopter charter, as much advance notice as possible is necessary to ensure availability of aircraft on the desired date. A 10% deposit is required to secure a tour date, with the balance due 14 days before departure.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a trip cannot be rescheduled:Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to departure will receive a full refund.Cancellations made 24-72 hours prior to departure will receive a partial refund.Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure will receive no refund
