THE NEW AND IMPROVED NSS FLAGSHIP TOUR

January 16 – 20, 2025

Join us for the entire 4-day, 3-night program.
Featured visits include NSS HQ, Kennedy Space Center & unique space museums and activities on Florida’s Space Coast.

BONUS ACTIVITY:

The NSS Membership Department has arranged a VIP Tour of some restricted areas on NASA property not included in the main tour program. This unique experience begins at 9am on Thursday, January 16, 2025. If you'd like to join this VIP NASA Tour, please contact burt.dicht@nss.org for further details.

THE NSS FLAGSHIP TOUR:

Day 1 – Thursday Jan 16th 2025

  • From 3:00 PM – Arrive at Hyatt Place Hotel, Titusville, FL, check-in to your launch view room.
  • 6:00 PM – Meet the group in the Lobby Bar of the Hyatt Hotel for our official Welcome Meet & Mingle.
  • 6:45 PM – Transfer to the Courtyard Hotel – Dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant/Space Bar.
  • 8:45 PM – Return transport to Hyatt Hotel.

Day 2 – Friday Jan 17th 2025

  • 6:30 – 8:00 AM – Breakfast Buffet at Hyatt Hotel.
  • 8:30 AM – Depart for Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex.
  • 9:00 – 11:30 AM – Visit of KSCVC, to include Gateway Center, Rocket Garden, Heroes and Legends.
  • 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Visit of Shuttle Atlantis Pavilion – Private tour with Mike Leinbach.
  • 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Lunch & Q&A with Mike at the Center for Space Education – Visit NSS Headquarters.
  • 3:00 PM – Options:
    • A) Return to KSCVC – visit of Journey to Mars, IMAX Theatre, bus tour, and other venues of interest.
    • B) Return to the Hotel for free time.
    • C) Visit American Space Museum
  • 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM – Afternoon transportation return to the hotel depending on the selected activity.
  • 7:15 PM – Depart for group dinner at Vine & Olive Restaurant.
  • 9:30 PM – Return transport to Hyatt Hotel

Day 3 – Saturday Jan 18th 2025

  • 6:30 – 8:00 AM – Breakfast Buffet at Hyatt Hotel.
  • 8:30 AM – Day Options:
    • A) An exciting visit of the Sands Space History Museum and Cape Canaveral Space Force Base followed by lunch, at a water-side restaurant at Port Canaveral which overlooks SpaceX and Blue Origin booster recovery zones.
    • B) A visit to the American Space Museum rich in Space History, followed by a walking tour of the Space Walk Hall of Fame and the unusual little town of Titusville where space history began. Experience the “local color” of the community while lunching at a local downtown restaurant.
    • C) Feel the thrill of an AirBoat ride through the swampy coastal areas of the St John’s river and discover Florida Wildlife in its natural habitat, followed by lunch in downtown Titusville.
  • ⦁ Afternoon transportation return to the hotel depending on the selected activity.
  • 6:45 PM – Depart for Pier 220 Restaurant on the Indian River for our Farewell Dinner.
  • 9:30 PM – Return to Hyatt Hotel.

Day 4 – Sunday Jan 19th 2025

    Hotel check out prior to Day's Activities (option to stay an extra night)

  • 6:30 – 8:30 AM – Breakfast Buffet at Hyatt Hotel.
  • 9:30 AM – Optional brunch on the Indian River Queen Paddleboat cruise on the Indian River.
  • 1:00 PM – Return to Hotel.
  • 2:00 – 5:30 PM – Optional Visit of Warbird Museum, and Control Tower at Space Coast Regional Airport.
  • 6:30 PM – Optional Group Dinner at Shiloh’s Restaurant.
