ELIZABETH A. SCHNEIDER

Creating Galactic Medallion has been the dream of travel industry professional, astronomy enthusiast, and lifelong educator, Elizabeth Schneider. A former high school French teacher, Elizabeth discovered an opportunity to turn her love of teaching and language into a 40+ year career as a multilingual tour guide in Central Florida — the tourist capital of the world — which she has called home since graduating from Rollins College.

Now, focusing exclusively on luxury tour adventures to the Space Coast of Florida, NASA, and the Kennedy Space Center, experience first-hand Elizabeth’s incomparable dedication to exceptional customer service and Galactic Medallion’s meticulous “VIP attention to detail.”

Be it with family vacationers, a delegation of business conventioneers, student groups, or the discerning luxury traveler, Elizabeth shares her contagious enthusiasm, passion, and thirst for knowledge about “all things space”.

Irving August Goetz

A Passion for Space Exploration

Elizabeth Schneider recounts her early fascination with space, inspired by her grandfather Irving Goetz, who built his own observatory and crafted telescopes by hand. She shares how they would often wake up in the early morning hours to view celestial objects, such as the rings of Saturn, through the homemade telescope. Her grandfather’s ingenuity extended to creating a makeshift camera grid using household items, reflecting his resourcefulness and passion for astronomy. This upbringing ignited Elizabeth's lifelong love for the cosmos, leading her to explore the possibilities of life beyond our planet.
