Creating Galactic Medallion was Elizabeth Schneider’s lifelong dream. She is a travel-industry professional, an astronomy fan, and a dedicated teacher. Originally, Elizabeth taught high-school French. Later, she turned her love of language into a 40-year career as a multilingual tour guide in Central Florida — the tourist capital of the world. She has called the area home since she graduated from Rollins College.
Today, Elizabeth focuses on luxury adventures to Florida’s Space Coast, NASA, and the Kennedy Space Center. Because of this focus, guests enjoy her unmatched customer service and Galactic Medallion’s careful, VIP attention to detail.
Whether she guides family vacationers, business groups, students, or high-end explorers, Elizabeth shares her lively enthusiasm and passion for all things space.
So, come join her on an extraordinary journey you will always remember!
Elizabeth Schneider’s love for space started with her grandfather, Irving Goetz. He built a small observatory in his yard and crafted telescopes by hand.
Often, the pair woke before dawn to view the rings of Saturn through those home-made lenses. In addition, Irving made a camera grid from simple household items, showing his skill and creativity.
As a result, his resourceful spirit inspired Elizabeth’s lifelong curiosity about the cosmos. Today, she explores every chance to share the wonder of worlds beyond Earth.
